This design was drawn originally with Anchor colours in my program. Use anchor threads to get the closest match. I used a conversion chart to get the DMC numbers.

Please let me know if any colours are off and I will amend them in the chart.

This is a cross stitch design of Princess Celestia writing a letter.
I left off any magical hue around the horn and pen because it made the picture too complicated, added another set of colours and did not really add much to the pose. I did not want to add too many shades of colours since that would be another set of threads to collect and stitch with.
How does Princess Celestias hair stay up and flowing like this all of the time? Does she use some magical hair gel?

Princess Celestia and characters from My little Pony: Friendship is Magic belong to Hasbro. This is fan art for other cross stitching fans of the show to share. I claim no rights to the character.

Hello everyone
Heres another little Christmas decoration maze. I just had to draw another one since I had so much fun drawing the last one and my friends little boy, Toby had a great time helping me make sure that the maze was completable and I had not accidentally blocked off the way through. I designed this one to be a little easier than the stocking maze. There are several ways to go around this one to get to the other side so not as many dead ends as before to keep this one lively for younger children to do.

Since this uses whole stitches only this design could be sewn on plastic canvas to make a decoration or sewn on aida and backed with a lovely felt (I recommend blue or yellow to match the design). Don't forget to attach a ribbon or piece of chord to help hang your decoration on the tree.

As always stitchers do not need to stick to these thread numbers. Since the design only uses four colours it will be easy to swap the colours of the design about to match the colour theme of your Christmas tree. Just don't forget to ensure that there is a darker and a lighter version of each colour. The lighter colour will be the main colour of the bauble and provide the 'Path' to be followed.
Be careful not to pick shades which are too similar to one another else it will be very difficult to complete the maze.

Have fun stitching everybody. Hope all of your cards are ready for the last post before Christmas. :)

Hello everyone
Are you feeling Christmassy yet?

These designs have been really fun to draw. I wanted to make something which could be used individually as cards (or more per card if you like) or lined up together as a larger pattern perhaps for a cushion or a wall hanging. Of course these colours are just suggestions so change them up however you like. Take all your favourite colours or use up some of your thread scraps on these since it doesn't matter what exact colour they are. Crackers can be any colour you can think of.
Maybe I'll have a go at sketching some larger ones which look like the crackers you get in posh shops. For the grown ups don't you know. I do miss the toys in those crackers though you get nail clippers and screwdrivers in those. Its useful but not very fun.

This week I have been having rather long discussions on when we are supposed to put up the Christmas tree. She tells me Mid-December and no earlier.
I am however a little bit too excited to start decorating. Maybe I'll sneak a couple of Christmas stockings onto the mantelpiece this weekend.

I just am really looking forward to trying out my upcycled Christmas baubles. I made them last January instead of getting rid of the worn ones after Christmas, as it was the first Christmas in my new house a few of my family members gave me some of their old decorations so I didn't have to buy them from scratch. However since they were old ones they were a little scuffed in places and just a little untidy, but a bit of ribbon and felt later and they looked just like new.
