Stoke city logo cross stitch design

This design was drawn originally with Anchor colours in my program. Use anchor threads to get the closest match. I used a conversion chart to get the DMC numbers.

Here we are again with another Football club logo cross stitch design. This one is very simple with only three colours and whole stitches only. I designed this for a football enthusiast friend who wanted to sew this logo as a small wall hanging for her sons room. She also wanted to attach a smaller piece to a plain lamp shade but I am not sure if they will effect the amount of light that can get through the shade so much that it will be counter productive.

The Stoke City club logo belongs to the club. This is a fan art design for other football loving cross stitchers.

Celtic FC logo - Football themed Cross stitch design

This is a cross stitch design of the Celtic FC logo. This one is a little larger than the others I had done because it is a little more complicated to keep in full stitches with all of the detail in the original logo. I may have another go at making a smaller version but it may have to include quite a few half stitches and back stitches.

I chose to do this logo because it is the team supported by my childhood best friend. She introduced me to a bunch of football chants and songs which supporters would sing in the stadium. We would occasionally sit together and make up our own football songs. So this logo reminds of of happy summers watching football and cheering our own made up rhymes. Not forgetting the times we would try to recreate the best goals in the garden. :)

Swansea City Football Club Logo Cross Stitch Design

This is a Small cross stitch design for Swansea City. This was requested by a friend who wanted to find just the right birthday card for their Dad but didn't have long to sew it. Luckily this logo only has one colour and in this small size it only took her one evening to sew it and another to put the card together (heavily distracted by her cat mind you)
Because the current Home kit for the team is black and white she pasted the design onto a white card with a stripe of black ribbon (for the black stripe on the arms) and another stripe of yellow for the yellow writing on the front of the shirt.
I shall have to convince her to let me post a photograph of her nice card but for now I hope you all enjoy the design.

Nottingham Forest Football Club Logo cross stitch design

This is a Cross stitch design for Nottingham forest. This design is the right size for a large card or as a centre for a cushion. This could even be stitched onto a T-shirt or sports shorts for a very dedicated fan. I would love to sew it on a plain pillowcase for my football mad friend for a nice subtle football themed bed cover rather than one with an all over print. (He told me this would be particularly hard to hide when his girlfriend came to visit)

This is A cross stitch design for the fabulous Tottenham Hotspur.
There is a small area of backstitch on the ball. In the design I have drawn it in black so it stands out from the white whole cross stitches but in your finished piece this should be white. Also I recommend using two strands instead of one for this backstitch to make this stand out as much as it should.

Sheffield Wednesday Logo Cross stitch design

I have a friend who used to live only a street away from the Sheffield Wednesday Football ground.

It was amazing to see the remains of a huge Sheffield Wednesday Owl which used to be painted over the side of a whole building. It was a two story house and the owl went almost to the roof. The owl had to be removed from the house but over the wall you can see a very faint outline where the owl was. Looking at it makes me think that whoever painted it spent many hours of love and determination to pull off such a feat.

I may end up sewing this design for my friend in Sheffield. However when I do I may regret the amount of Half stitches used in the design. Simply remember to count carefully like with full stitches and you cannot go wrong. Fans of the club will notice that there is normally a date on the bottom of the logo under the SWFC text. I have left this out of the design since this particular design is not very big (a large feature on a card sized) there was not room to put the date without it looking cluttered. However if you feel confident to add this detail youself the football fan you make this for will appreciate your attention to detail.

This is Fan art of the Sheffield Wednesday Logo. I do not own or claim to own the logo, it belongs to the football club. I simply wish to share a design for all of the Sheffield wednesday fans out there.

Fullham FC cross stitched Logo

This is a Cross stitch design for the Fullham FC logo.

This was requested by a friend who wanted to stitch it for a card so I have made the design small enough to fit on a card.

As always this is fan art. I claim no ownership of this logo. But what better way to show your support for your favourite team or create a gift for a football mad friend than to sew a football logo.

Finished arsenal Logo cross stitch

This is a cross stitch made for two football mad boys. The logo comes from this website:

Take a look this design is very nice and not too difficult. Lots of arsenal logo designs I looked at were very large but this one is just right. Plus the logo is so recognisable and simple even when half finished people (football fans in the pub) cane to ask if I was sewing what they thought I was sewing.

To go with the logo I designed two sets of Arsenal kits. The red kit is the Home kit and the blue is Away.
I am going to add the names of the boys one above each football kit and their date of birth under the logo itself.

Try taking the Football kit outlines I have used here and changing it the the colours of your favourite team. A simplified version of each teams kit colours can be found by searching for them on Wikipedia.

Cross stitch Football boys

An original cross stitch design of two boys playing football together.
The Kit is loosely based off the Arsenal kit but you can easily turn this into another teams kit by changing the colours.You could even adjust the skin tone, hair style and colour and perhaps turn these two into two kids you know.

This design was originally created for (a very late) baby sampler. The boys are twins and love football either watching or playing it.
