This is a cross stitch design of Pinkie Pie as she goes a little mad in the episode 'Party of One'. This episode shows that Pinkie is actually very dependent on her friends for company and validation of her own worth.
This episode shows a darker side to Pinkie Pie as without her friends she appears to have no purpose, no goals and no way to be happy without others. Since she is made happy by helping others and making them smile but seems to have no way to make herself smile when she is alone.

Her madness/ depression in this episode appears to be not only mental but physical as her hair noticeably straightens and her colouring is darker and duller. This may be a way to show the viewer clearly the change in her personality or to perhaps show that Pinkie has two very different sides to herself, one of which she perhaps prefers not to show to others.

I think it may also be fun to draw some designs based on her party guests in this episode as there are already a few fan art pieces based around these 'characters'.

Pinkie Pie in a Chicken suit - My Little pony Cross stitch design

Here's a cross stitch design of Pinkie pie in her Chicken suit for Nightmare Night. I know its nowhere near Halloween but when this design got suggested to me I just had to make it a post before Easter. I wonder if Pinkie likes giving out candy to all the little fillies and colts at a celebration in Equestria which may be just like spring. But I am not sure Fluttershy would approve of filling all the little ponies with sugar while the cute animals have their babies to tend to.

I just could not decide which pose to draw Pinkie in so I just had to draw one where she looks cute but also one where she is being a running Chicken since she does this so very often in the nightmare night episode.

Rarity, Pinkie pie and Applejack

Designs of the cutie marks of three of the main characters in the new My little pony, Friendship is magic series.
For each of these three I also included their name in a font which I thought represented their personalities.
Rarity has an elegant and flowing font. The swirls are inspired by her flowing main and tail and of course she is elegant and sophisticated.
Applejack has a straight forward font. She is down to earth and doesn't like any fancy nonsense. The colour matches the colour of her coat.
Pinkie pie loves to party and to be honest he is very random in her actions. (always with the best of intentions) so I went crazy with her font and added cakes and her famous party cannon.
