This is a cross stitch design of one of my favourite Rarity costumes the Hipster outfit from the Episode Sweet and Elite. If you are having trouble finding it in the episode it is shown very very briefly during the song 'Becoming Popular' but then again theis doesn't seem to be unusual for rarity to have a costume shown for only briefly and in this song there are just loads of lovely Rarity outfits.

The reason I like this one is because it also comes with a sweet new hairdo for her I have previously wondered if Raritys very bouncy mane would ever lie straight. Plus its very classy without being over the top or quite frilly like some of the large dresses we see her wear. It helps to show that Rarity is a pony of varied tastes.

This costume is also a very easy cosplay. I saw a few people at the London expo this year in this outfit complete with a purple wig and some accessory with the cutie mark on such as a necklace or badge.

I just love the cutie mark is worked into the design of the dress and how that wig is just spot on with the curls. Its facinating to see the different interpretations of these characters in cosplay. From people dressed as horses in quad suits to completely humanised versions of the outfits I think the community has seen it all.

Rarity from Equestria Girls Cross stitch design

This is a cross stitch design of Rarity's super cute outfit for the Fall Formal from the Film Equestria Girls. Its a nice dress but doesn't wow me very much. I was expecting something a bit more flashy for Rarity considering the amazing array of outfits we see in the Friendship is magic series. So this will be the first time I actually prefer the outfit shown on the official dolls than the one in the show. 

The purple dress that comes with the Deluxe version of the doll is just lovely and I really think that this colour scheme suits Rarity better. However since Twilight sparkle was wearing a purple dress in this scene I guess they had to mix it up a little. I'm not too sure about the Pink dress that also comes with the deluxe doll set. I mean what is that fabric just sticking out of the side there? I do hope that its just laid flat for the pictures and doesn't just stick out strangely like that when on the doll. 

Come to think of it why don't any of the dolls come with the Canterlot Wondercolts accessories? That little headband and tail (along with hopefully the school jumper with the horseshoe on it) would be so adorable on these dolls.

Look for it during the song Becoming Popular. I love this look for Rarity because her hair is done so nicely it compliments her already wavy hair by adding more curls.

Rarity, Pinkie pie and Applejack

Designs of the cutie marks of three of the main characters in the new My little pony, Friendship is magic series.
For each of these three I also included their name in a font which I thought represented their personalities.
Rarity has an elegant and flowing font. The swirls are inspired by her flowing main and tail and of course she is elegant and sophisticated.
Applejack has a straight forward font. She is down to earth and doesn't like any fancy nonsense. The colour matches the colour of her coat.
Pinkie pie loves to party and to be honest he is very random in her actions. (always with the best of intentions) so I went crazy with her font and added cakes and her famous party cannon.
