This is a small card sized cross stitch design for the Ghostbusters. It will be nice to stitch for a fan of the films or cartoons and is not too difficult to tackle. With only three colours you won't be spending too long on it at all.
We will be watching this film for Halloween  this year (since my friends who are coming don't like really really scary films) with a whole bunch of popcorn and sweets.
I have heard rumour that my housemate is planning to decorate our house a bit for the occasion. With a big skeleton and some cobwebs. I don't think she will have to try too hard you know. Theres already cobwebs all over the place so now they are decoations and not a sign I havn't tided up in a while.

The Ghostbusters was made and distributed by these lovely companies, Black Rhino, Delphi Productions and Columbia Pictures. This is a fan art picture free for other cross stitchers to use I do not own this charcter.

Here is a cross stitch design for the Flame Princess from Adventure time. Here she is looking very sweet and cute and quite unlike her latest episode. (but I shall not mention in case of spoilers)

One lovely thing about Adventure Time I have noticed is the variety of different looks and outfits each character has. Well it seems that Jake rarely wears clothing and Finn must have several sets of the same outfit but take a look at the other humanoid characters such as Princess Bubblegum, Marceline and of course the Flame Princess. So many shows will not change the character models as often and perhaps only for a specific purpose.
In Adventure Time I think it gives a few more clues to the personalities of each character. Their looks change and evolve along with their storylines, this show does not remain static when ther start and end point of the story is the same time and time again but the world and the characters evolve a little with every passing story arc.

This is a cross stitch design of a circle of butterflies and flowers in bight bold colours.
It was inspired by some of the wonderful jewellery creations at my friends Etsy shop. Check it out here:
http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KJSBeadCreations

Here are a few of the designs featured in the Etsy shop. I just love the way each piece is so bright, bold and colourful. She also uses a wide variety of colours and themes so it is easy to find something to match all moods and outfits.
Aren't they adorable? I just can't decide which one I'd want to wear.

If you would prefer to use your favourite colours for this design here is a version of the design with just the black outlines (though I think it would also look good in any colour bright or dark enough to stand out from the aida)

There are quite a few colours in this design but believe it or not my first draft of this pattern actually contained far more colours which I tried to reduce as much as I can to make it easier to sew. So the colours are not 100% accurate to the film but close enough to avoid several more shades of green/purple.

Heres a design for Spike the Dragon who has been Transformed into Spike the Dog (oops sorry if that was a spoiler for anyone) from the My Little Pony Film Equestria Girls.

Spike looks so cute as a dog. I do wonder if they will bring out some plushtoys of this character I think it would be great.
I did find this wonderful plushie of him on Deviantart http://www.deviantart.com/?q=spike+the+dog+plush#/art/Spike-dog-plush-374420866?_sid=741dada5 and it is just so adorable.

I shall be adding links to more Equestria girls cross stitches once I finish drawing them. Phew they are much harder to draw in human form than in pony form.

Spike and characters from Equestria Girls and My little Pony: Friendship is Magic belong to Hasbro. This is fan art for other cross stitching fans of the show to share.I claim no rights to the character.

Ok hands up who is a massive fan of Professor Layton games! I have all of them that are out right now. If I get stuck on a puzzle (which is actuially quite frequently) I just go off and explore the scenery looking for hint coins and may just work it out when I get back.
Without giving any spoilers away I just love the storylines. Each one has left me wondering what its all about until the final storyline clue slotted everything into place.

So whose played these games? Did anyone get stuck? Oh I so had to ask my friends about a couple of the puzzles leading up to the final cutscene in Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Swansea City Football Club Logo Cross Stitch Design

Swansea City Football Club Logo Cross Stitch Design

This is a Small cross stitch design for Swansea City. This was requested by a friend who wanted to find just the right birthday card for their Dad but didn't have long to sew it. Luckily this logo only has one colour and in this small size it only took her one evening to sew it and another to put the card together (heavily distracted by her cat mind you)
Because the current Home kit for the team is black and white she pasted the design onto a white card with a stripe of black ribbon (for the black stripe on the arms) and another stripe of yellow for the yellow writing on the front of the shirt.
I shall have to convince her to let me post a photograph of her nice card but for now I hope you all enjoy the design.
Have a great weekend everybody. Happy stitching.

The Logo belongs to Swansea City, I claim no rights to it just did a little design to share with other cross stitching football fans.

This is a start of a brand new series for me called Kids animal counting. Half of the fun of a counting picture it to be able to count the number shown. So to start with heres an easy one for the kids: One Hippo.

This picture is cushion sized and may look brilliant with other animal themed counting pictures together in a quilt or in a set of pillows. Alternatively just use the hippo picture in a smaller design for someone who loves animals.
